is a small company devoted to bringing you beautiful handcrafts.
We specialize in designs with Jewish themes
which can be used at home and in the synagogue.
We welcome your questions and feedback about our work.
Our designers are available to create special Judaic items
(chuppot, Torah mantles, tallitot) on commission,
and we are available to conduct workshops for your group.

FYI

Rita C. Altman (right) began stitching as a child doing printed cross stitch. In her teen and young adult years she concentrated on canvas work. Since 1982 her passion has been counted cross stitch. This has led to her dedication to stitching and design of Judaic needlwork. She teaches Judaic needle arts and continues to design modern Judaic needle artifacts which she describes as "visual midrash".

Arlene Diane Spector (left) is a freelance calligrapher and calligraphy teacher. As a graduate student in art history, her main interests were Medieval manuscripts, tapestry, and graphic arts. She creates original ketubot (marriage certificates) and has designed and taught quilted Judaic pillows, challah covers, our Hebrew band sampler design, and blackwork.

Arlene and Rita are members of The Pomegranate Guild of Judaic Needlework, Delaware Valley Chapter.
